What a fucking great way to get robbed. No violence, no trauma, no chance I’m gonna run after him. Pretty sweet really. I also had a few hundred bucks in the phone case, but I would rather lose that then get held up at gunpoint or bashed in the head with a pipe. So even though I lost, I really kind of won. South America ain’t such a bad place after all.
This particular track is an enticing instrumental which contains a sample from the song “De Ushuaia a La Quiaca” by Gustavo Santaolalla. As with all edits/reworks we do, this edit has been done with utmost respect for the original composer, and is furthermore a completely non-profit thing – done purely for the love of music.
Luego viene Dynamo (1992) que consistió en tomar Canción Animal y destruirlo. Es como si a Canción Animal lo hubiéramos metido dentro del agua. Y, a nivel sonoro, quisimos producir eso, las canciones tenían más que ver con algo hipnótico. La idea era remixarlo, mezclarlo con algo más dance e incluir algo más trance en nuestra música. Sé que quienes adoptaron ese disco lo quieren y a mí me pasa lo mismo
